I am François Bélanger, photographer. Why the "L" in LFBPHOTO ? Because my full name is Louis François Bélanger. I'm from Gatineau, which is located in the Outaouais region in Québec, Canada.

For over 12 years, my passion has been and is still photography. I do mainly portrait and nude. I also do other stuff, but my favorites by far are those two styles. I’m always looking to push further my research and try to find new ideas. I always try to evolve in what I do. For over six years, I’ve worked full time at the Centre de production DAÏMÕN in Gatineau. Being with artists every day has helped me push the analysis of my work. On this website, you will find photography that were made at different stages of my evolution. Which image is from which period ? That is my secret. In photography perseverance is a must. I have redone some of my projects more than once to get where I wanted my idea to go.

I did not call myself an artist. People around me started to say that I was an artist. The fact that I almost never shoot weddings and my eclectic projects probably helped me get that title.
